How to Update the HSBY M580 CPUs with SV2.80 firmware .

M580 SV2.80 firmware introduces a difference of configuration while updating the hotstandby system .This difference will be seen at the end of the updating.

To update the system without any stop of the HSBY system, we advise to preliminary :

Implement the “HSBY_BUILD_OFFLINE” EF in each CPU

1. Connect PC to Primary PLC

2. Modify program and add the HSBY_BUILD_OFFLINE, set to one the allow mismatch input eg: HSBY_BUILD_OFFLINE_0 (ALLOW_MISMATCH := true, STATUS => buildsts);

3. BUILD changes

4. Transfer app from Primary to STBY

then to Update the CPUS as describe in the Update procedure (page 203-205) of https://www.schneider-electric.com/en/download/document/NHA58880/ .
