Cannot install Vijeo Designer 6.2 Service Pack on a PC with SoMachine or EcoStruxure Machine Expert
Issue:
When trying to install Service Pack 9 on top of Vijeo Designer that is bundled with SoMachine or EcoStruxure Machine Expert, an error will appear stating that there is an incompatible version of SoMachine / EcoStruxure Machine Expert installed.

Resolution:
When installing Service Pack 9 of Vijeo Designer on a PC with SoMachine 4.x or EcoStruxure Machine Expert 1.1 or older, we will see the following error:
This error is indicating that we are unable to install Service Pack 9 on top of any version of Vijeo Designer when there is SoMachine 4.x or EcoStruxure Machine Expert 1.1 or older on the same PC. The reason for this is because Service Pack 9 of Vijeo Designer integrates a newer version of Codesys that is incompatible with the older version so Codesys used in SoMachine 4.x or EcoStruxure Machine Expert 1.1 or older. This is in preparation for integration into EcoStruxure Machine Expert 1.2 and up.
In order to use Service Pack 9 of Vjieo Designer 6.2, you will need to have a separate Virtual Machine running Standalone Vijeo Designer 6.2.
