Unable to install Vijeo Designer 6.2 on Windows Server 2012

Issue:
While installing Vijeo Designer 6.2 on Windows Server 2012, a Window pops up for "Windows Installer Coordinator" that causes the installation to fail.

Resolution:
NOTE: While Windows Server is not officially an operating system that Vijeo Designer supports, this resolution is intended for the scenario where you do not need to serve the Vijeo Designer to multiple clients connected to the server. This resolution helps install Vijeo Designer on the server locally to be used on the server itself.

Windows Server has a feature called RDS (Remote Desktop Session Host Windows Installer) Compatibility. If RDS Compatibility is not disabled, an error message appears during installation and Vijeo Designer is unable to complete installation. The error will state that the msiexec.exe has failed. To avoid this situation, please follow the steps below:

If RDS Compatibility is enabled, the Enable item is set to 1 in the registry table, as in one of the following locations:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services\TSAppSrv\TSMSI\Enable

■
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\TSAppSrv\TSMSI\Enable

To disable, we want to set Enable = 0.

Once the registry item is set, re-run the Vijeo Designer installation.
