How can I setup Java to access webpage of STB under Win10/7 OS ?2.Environment
Windows 10 ，Windows 7, 32bit or 64bit
3.Resolution
User could install jre-8u202-windows-i586.exe for Win7 and Win10 OS and remove other Java versions from control panel.
The installation file could be downloaded in
https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/javase8-archive-downloads.html
After installation of Java , the security level should be selelcted to High and the webpage address of STB should be added to execption site
The webpage of STB should be opened by Internet Explorer and user should choose later option when Java update needed window pops up .
User needs to accept the security warning and click run button when this window appears .
The default HTTP feature of STB NIM has been disabled due to cybersecurity enhancement if the firmware version of manufactured module is listed as following
STBNIP2311 SV>=5.0
STBNIC2212 SV>=4.0
STBNIP2212 SV>=4.0
User could install latest Advantys configuration tool ,enable the HTTP feature in module options ,then online the STB to download the configuration.
