How to use Authentication for Ecostruxure Power Build Rapsody FR V2.1.19

Ecostruxure Power Build - Rapsody has undergone some improvements. One of the improvements is to Authenticate users.
Download the latest version of Rapsody & complete the installation. Double click on the Desktop Icon or Startup Icon to Launch Rapsody.

A window opens where you are required to enter your username & password for accessing  Rapsody tool.
In this window you can do multiple things:

1) Register to Schneider Electric - If you have not registered with Schneider Electric earlier you can do so.

• From FR V2.1.19 onwards we have a new User interface for registration. In the Rapsody authentication window , Click on Register Now.

• Complete all the fields. Click on the Submit button. Make sure you provide an email to which you have access.

Note:- Password should contain at least 8 characters with at least 1 special character, upper case, lower case, Numeric character, and not more than 2  identical characters in a row.

• 1^st Step of Registration is now complete. A mail will be sent to the email entered during the registration process

• 2^nd Step of Registration. Go to your email inbox & open the email from Schneider Electric. Click on “Verify your email”.

• You will be redirected to a page with a message “Your mail has been verified”.

2) Login - If you have registered with Schneider Electric earlier, you can enter your username & password

• Now you can Open the Rapsody Window. Enter your email and click on NEXT button.

• Enter the password and click on LOGIN button. You will be able to successfully login to Ecostruxure Power Build – Rapsody & start using the software.

3) Reset Password - If you have registered with Schneider Electric earlier & forgot your password you can reset your password.

• If you have forgotten your password – Click on the “Forgot your password” link to reset your password. The Link will be on the password page (after fill the user_id/email_id and click on Next)

• Enter your email address and click the checkbox for robot validation. Click on “Reset Password”. An email with a link to reset your password will be sent to your email address.

• Open the email from Schneider Electric in your inbox. Click on “Reset Password”

• Enter the new password & confirm. Click on “Update Password”.

Note:- Password should contain at least 8 characters with at least one special, uppercase, lowercase and numeric character, and no more than two identical characters in a row.

• You will get this message which indicates that your password has been updated. Go back to Rapsody login screen & enter the username & password. This will enable you to use the Rapsody Software
