How to realize Citect switch over in case of OFS freeze
Customer needs technical support on how to realize Citect switch over in case of OFS freeze? Citect SCADA 2018, OFS 3.62.3304.0
Update the OFSOPC of Citect SCADA to 3.02 where there are two parameters designed to release Citect switch over in case of OFS freeze.
It is providing two new ini parameters:
- first parameter (DynamicStatusItemName) which specifies the item which value
will periodically change and if it stops changing, the driver will consider the OFS connection is lost
- second parameter (DynamicStatusItemInterval) will specify the period at which
the driver will be checking that item for a change.
If these parameters are not specified, the driver will work as now.
If they are specified, the driver will set to I/O device offline if the value of that item stops changing.
