How to use the TRB142 Teltonika modem with the Modicon M221 Controller in EcoStruxure Machine Expert - Basic?
- Modem – RS232 configuration

Connect the TRB142 modem to your PC thanks to the USB cable supplied with the modem.
Use the Quick Start Guide available with the modem TRB142 to change configuration of modem.

To enter the gateway's Web interface, type http://192.168.2.1 into the URL field of your Internet browser.
Use this Login information:
- Username: admin
- Password: admin01
Go to Services >> Serial Utilities >> Modem Control:
From this page, Add a New Instance with the same communication settings as defined in the controller application:
=> Click “Save & Apply”
Note: Mode has to be set on Full Control. In this mode, the TRB142 modem is completely started when the 2G,3G,4G LEDs are blinking and all signal LEDs are OFF.
- M221 Controller – Serial Port and ASCII Manager configuration
ASCII Manager configuration:
Select Generic Modem and add the following init command:
AT&F; E0;S0=2; S3=13;S4=10;Q0;V1;+CBST=0,0,1;&W;+CMGF=0;+CNMI=2,2,0,0,0
