To rectify the logic editor not opening follow the steps below:

1. Export Program/Projects.
2. Download the current version of RemoteConnect
3. Before you unzip the downloaded file, right click on properties, under the general tab select unblocked, then click apply, and click the ok button.
4. Create a new folder off the root directory.  Recommended to be C:\RC273
5. Unzip the downloaded file RemoteConnect-R-2.7.3_Ecostruxure-Control-Expert-V-15.1 at the created new folder C:\RC273
6. Extract the both files EcoStruxure Control Expert V15.1 and TBUM250347 RemoteConnect and SCADAPack x70 Utilities R2.7.3 DVD at C:\RC273 folder
7. Uninstall Control Expert V15.1 through a method described in the next section

Uninstalling Control Expert
Option 1 - Using the Setup File
The following describes the procedure to uninstall Control Expert from the Control Expert Setup on the DVD-ROM or .iso file in the maintenance mode:
Steps

1. The beginning of the uninstall procedure depends on the software package media.  With DVD-ROM: Insert the DVD-ROM named Control Expert. The software package setup is automatically launched. If not, go to the DVD root and launch Setup.exe. With .iso file: Extract the files of the installation package to disk or mount the image (.iso). Double click the Setup.exe file located in the root of the installation package.
2. The installation wizard for Control Expert starts. Click Next.
3. The Program Maintenance window opens. Select the Uninstall option and confirm by clicking Next.
4. Launch the procedure by clicking Remove.

Option 2 - Uninstalling Control Expert by Using the Windows Control Panel
The following procedure shows how to uninstall Control Expert manually with the Windows Control Panel:
Steps:
1. Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
2. Right-click Control Expert and select Remove.
3. A pop-up window appears asking for confirmation. Click Yes.

After Uninstalling Control Expert

• Open windows explorer and delete the following folders if exist CommonControlExpert and Common folder
  • Delete CommonControlExpert folder located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Schneider Electric Shared\CommonControlExpert
  • Delete Common folder  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Schneider Electric Shared
• Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features and uninstall RemoteConnect, SCADAPack CommDTM, and SCADAPack x70 Device DTM

• Select or double click on EcoStruxure Control Expert V15.1 folder and then extract Control_Expert_V15.1-IR15D
• Double click on Control_Expert_V15.1-IR15D and run Setup.exe to install the Control Expert V15.1 then follow instructions during installation
• After installing Control Expert V15.1 go to TBUM250347 RemoteConnect and SCADAPack x70 Utilities R2.7.3 DVD and then run Setup.exe to install RemoteConnect.
• Browse to TBUM250347 RemoteConnect and SCADAPack x70 Utilities R2.7.3 DVD folder and run the setup.exe or setup application file at the root of the folder that contains the SCADAPack RemoteConnect installation files.  Follow installation steps on screen.
• Launch RemoteConnect

This concludes the upgrade process.
