EcoStruxure Process Expert [2021]: Failed to restore the dbk
User faces below issue while restoring the dbk backup in Ecostruxure Process Expert 2020R2(EPE 2020 R2).

As a general procedure, to correct this issue,we tend to check the path in which the backup is stored.Also,we will check the properties of the storage folder.If everything seems to be okay,then we need to perform the below steps:
1) Delete the Appdata files from C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Schneider Electric\Process Expert 2020R2\Vm
2) Delete the .Virtual Box files from C:\Users\Username\ .VirtualBox
3) Restart the system
4) Reinstall the certificate of system server.
After performing the above steps,restore of dbk will be successful.
This issue has been faced in EPE 2020R2.But this is applicable to all the versions of EPE.
