EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO) 2022: Failing to supply license to OFS Factory Server which was installed during EPO 2022 installation

Issue

This is a known issue with the OFS tool supplied along with the EPO v2021/v2022 installer in which it is failing to get licenses from EPO.

Environment

EcoStruxure Power Operation (EPO) 2021 / 2022.

Resolution

This is a known issue with the OFS tool supplied along with the EPO v2021/2022 installer and same has been fixed in the latest version of OFS. Hence it is recommended to uninstall existing version of OFS v3.62 and install the latest version of OFS 3.63 Service Pack 2 available at this link -

OFS Uninstall/Install Procedure:

1>   Go to control panel and uninstall the OFS v3.62.

2>   Download the latest version of OFS v3.63 with SP2 (OFS_V3.63_4904_SP2_L.iso) from this link-https://www.se.com/sg/en/download/document/OFS_3_63_4904_SP2/

3>   Install the OFS v3.63  downloaded at step-2 and use below details during installation

a.     PartNumber "TLXCDOFS"
b.     Serial number "12345678910"
