Unable to finish upgrading the catalog in RemoteConnect
- If you're unable to update the catalog in RemoteConnect and the cursor closes at a certain percentage, followed by the window closing, please see the details below.
Resolution: - Update the RemoteConnect to the latest version.
- If you don't want to update to the latest version of RemoteConnect, follow the steps below:
- Shut down the RemoteConnect application if it's running.
- On the PC experiencing the issue, please create a backup copy of the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\RemoteConnect\CBS\FDTDTM\RuntimeFrame.dll.config" and save it to a suitable location.
- Copy the attached file "RuntimeFrame.dll.config" (from the WI attachments) to the PC experiencing the issue, replacing the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\RemoteConnect\CBS\FDTDTM\RuntimeFrame.dll.config."
- Launch the RemoteConnect application, navigate to the "Catalog" tab, and click the "Update Catalog" button.
- Monitor the progress of the DTM scan. If the DTM scan completes successfully, we are good to go.
