Smart UPS Modular Ultra SRYLBM does not turn on in the External Battery Pack
Issue:
The XRCC (External Battery Pack Communications Card) is solid green, but a known good SRYLBM does not power up (UPS does not recognize BM) in the XBP (External Battery Pack).

Resolution:
There is possibly a problem with the signal going from the UPS to the XBP. When you plug the XBP connector into the UPS frame and engage the thumbscrew, it should close the switch to complete the circuit and allow the BMs in the XBP to turn on. Check to see if the thumbscrew is fully engaged. You may need to use a screwdriver to fully engage the switch.
