Resolution:

The original warranty period of an APC by Schneider Electric product can be extended over a period of either 1, 3 or 5 year duration, which may vary depending on the SKU and Region.

Please visit APC by Schneider Electric web site and pick the appropriate Country from the "Select your location" window to obtain information for customer support in your region.
