PowerChute Network Shutdown priority durations reset to 0 for Un-prioritized VMs after enabling VM Prioritization

Issue:

With PowerChute Network Shutdown version 5.2, there is an issue with the handling of duration values for the prioritized group in the Virtualization Settings:

• When any value is set for Startup, Shutdown, or VM Migration durations—either during initial configuration or after disabling VM Prioritization—these values are reset to 0 once VM Prioritization is re-enabled.
• This behavior occurs regardless of whether the values were set manually or retained from a previous configuration.

Expected Behavior:

1. After the initial configuration, the values set for Startup and Shutdown durations in the Virtualization Settings should remain in the un-prioritized group fields on the VM Prioritization page.
2. When values for Startup, Shutdown, and VM Migration durations are set via the VM Prioritization page, they should be saved in the pcnsconfig.ini file. Upon disabling and re-enabling VM Prioritization, these values should be retained from the config file instead of resetting to 0.

Environment:

PowerChute Network Shutdown is configured for VMware with vCenter server or Microsoft Hyper-V.

Cause:

Change from earlier versions.

Solution:

When prioritizing VMs, enter a value for the un-prioritized group. In the example below we have set the duration to 120 seconds.
