Yes, the Control Expertsimulator can be started using the command line console. To do so, follow the steps below

1. Using the command line, change the directory to the location of the simulator exe file ; sim.exe . The default destination directory of the PLC Simulator for Control Expert software installation is C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Control Expert ••.•\PLC_Simulator\
2. To start an instance of PLC Simulator with a specific port number, you can execute the command start sim /PORT<port number> in the Command Prompt console from the PLC Simulator installation folder. For example, start sim /port507 for the port 507.
