Solution
There is a file named LABELS.INI located at C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\ION Setup. Inside this file under the [Checklist Help] section, all the help text appears which are exactly the same when a user clicks on each item in the Device Configuration Checklist. This section provides detailed descriptions for each error and warning listed.
Note:
The Setup Assistant checklist is designed to identify common configuration issues; however, it may occasionally produce false positives or overlook certain conditions. This is why warnings are labeled as "Possible" no automated software check can guarantee 100% accuracy. The checklist serves as a guidance tool, highlighting potential concerns along with recommended actions.
For example:
Voltage Wiring: Voltage readings suspect
Possible wiring issue for voltage inputs. Use Phasor viewer to verify that the wiring is correct.
Additional Note on "Voltage/Current readings suspect" example:
ION Setup reads both the voltage and current Nominal values, along with the outputs from the Symmetrical Component modules, specifically, three registers for each module (Current and Voltage):
Zero, Positive, and Negative Magnitude.
Based on the device’s configured voltage mode (e.g., WYE or Delta), ION Setup compares these values against expected thresholds (±10%). If the measured values deviate from the expected range for the selected mode, a warning is triggered. In an ideal scenario, where only the positive sequence component is present, the positive magnitude should be close to the Nominal value, while the zero and negative components should be near zero.
