Features
TeSys GS is engineered to support a wide range of international fuse standards, including NFC, DIN, BS, and UL types. This flexibility allows it to seamlessly integrate into various electrical systems across different regions and industries. It simplifies procurement and inventory management by reducing the need for multiple fuse types, making it a globally adaptable solution for panel builders and system integrators.
Designed with operator safety and convenience in mind, TeSys GS features compact, ergonomic handles that are both robust and padlockable (accommodating up to three padlocks), ensuring secure disconnection during maintenance. The door interlock mechanism prevents access to live parts, further enhancing safety. Additionally, the handles are available in Black/Grey or Yellow/Red, providing clear visual cues for operational status and emergency use.
TeSys GS delivers exceptional electrical protection with a short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 100 kA, ensuring system integrity even under severe fault conditions. It provides both upstream and downstream pole isolation, allowing for safe fuse replacement and circuit manipulation under load. The use of fast-acting fuse technology ensures rapid fault clearance, minimizing equipment damage and reducing operational downtime.
The auxiliary contact system in TeSys GS enhances monitoring, diagnostics, and control. It includes early break contacts and “O” (Off) / “I” (On) position indicators for real-time status feedback. The GS1AN isolation contacts are reversible, allowing configuration as either N/O or N/C. Additionally, blown fuse indication contacts and off-load test facilities (when used with GS2AHT handles) support preventive maintenance and help reduce troubleshooting time.
