For most of the customers the substitution of NT/NW circuit-breakers by MTZ123 can be performed without recertifying the switchboard.
Schneider Electric provides attestation documents from third party certification companies to confirm that according to IEC 61439,
there is no need for re-certify the switchboard when replacing Masterpact NT/NW by Masterpact MTZ1/2/3.
Nevertheless,
- For certain customers, especially Panelbuilders dedicated to specific applications ( e.g Oil &Gas ) may have to re-test or re-certify their switchboard with MTZ.
- An update of existing certification is required to integrate the newly added performance MTZ1 H3.
