"FWUP" is not a fault code, it is a status of the drive.
When the drive is shipped from the factory it is flashed with the latest firmware version.
The drive has to be reset by a powercycle ( power off – power on )
After that, a message “firmware update done correctly” is displayed.
This message has to be acknowledged by pressing the OK button.
If ESC button is pressed, the status of the firmware is not updated and the drive will not get into the standby – modus ( rdY ) !
