Resetting Harmony™ XB5S Biometric Switches to Factory Settings

Harmony XB5S Biometric Switches

In case the original administrator of the biometric switch is no longer available or if his finger is demaged, or more simply,
if the equipment manufacturer sends a machine with a biometric switch which is not reseted, then there is a procedure to
reinitialize it ( back to factory settings ).
The Harmony™ XB5S Biometric Switches utilize the serial number to generate a unique super reset procedure.
The serial number can be found on the white sticker on the back of the biometric switch.
Once obtained, please contact Schneider Electric Technical Support and provide the serial number to have a reset procedure generated for you.
