Which type of glass is used in our product range universal enclosures and what is the difference between Anti-burglary glass and security glass ?

• Our products with glazed door (SBM, SF, SM, PLM, PLA,VDM, S3X, PC Rack, S3D, CRN and CRNG  series ) listed in our "Universal Enclosures" catalog are equipped with SECURIT® glass with a thickness of 4mm.
• Our glass marked SECURIT® is security glass. Through heat treatment, toughened glass is stronger than ordinary glass and, in event of breakage, it breaks into a multitude of harmless little pieces.

As opposed to a glass bottle for example which would break into random sized sharp and dangerous pieces.

Anti-burglary glass is, what you can find on large public displays or luxury boutique fronts, almost unbreakable.
