Resolution
Having the ability to have a company or multiple people working on the same project standardize on an .eds library will save time and frustration. To do this you can export the full .eds library from Control Expert. Here are the steps to export the library:

1. Open a Control Expert project.
2. Open the DTM browser
3. Right click on a module, select Device Menu, Additional functions, and Export EDS library.
4. Specify where you want to save the exported file
5. Once the export is complete you can send file to colleagues for import.
