Issue:

Users need to build or modify RTU configuration files for the SAGE RTUs but do not have access to a physical SAGE device.

Environment:

Configuration of RTU files without a connected SAGE device (offline scenario).

Cause:

The standard configuration process requires a live connection to a SAGE RTU to create or modify files. When spare SAGE RTUs are unavailable, this becomes a limitation.

Resolution:

SAGE RTU provides a licensed software tool called SAGE Offline Configurator Tool that allows users to work on RTU files without being connected to a physical device.

• The tool can be purchased through authorized distributors or a sales representative.
• Two licensing options are available:

• S2000-OLC-001A0 – Single seat license
• S2000-OLU-001A0 – Unlimited license
