Resolution
Bacnet and Modbus are different protocols. Bacnet is a broadcasting protocol, where devices are constantly listening to the master and when it's their turn (token) they respond to the master. MODBUS is a request/reply protocol and offers services specified by function codes. MODBUS function codes are elements of MODBUS request/reply Protocol Data Unit.
The PM5500 meter is capable of communicating to both sites at the same time without any issue.
