PowerChute Network Shutdown will not register will Galaxy VS/VL with Network Management Card 4 (AP9644)
Issue:
While registering a PowerChute Network Shutdown client with the AP9644 installed in a Galaxy VS/VL, you receive the following error: “PowerChute is not receiving data from the Network Management Card.”

Environment:
PowerChute Network Shutdown all versions, all supported OS
Network Management Card 4 (NMC 4) AP9644
Galaxy VS Firmware 6.72.0 & Galaxy VL Firmware 12.21.0

Cause:
NMC Firmware

Solution:
  1. Verify that the AP9644 has been configured to allow PowerChute to connect.PCNS-NMC4 Galaxy VS Configuration
  2. Perform a reboot of the NMC by pressing the Reset button on its faceplate. You only need to press the button for one second and then release it. You will then be able to register the NMC with PowerChute successfully.
