Some customers are surprised by the inrush current values of the DC power supplies for M580 BMXCPS4022, BMXCPS4022S, and BMXCPS3020.
This can cause problems with energy distribution limitations for customers using 10 or 100 power supplies.
For each product in our catalog, we have provided the features "I²t," "It," and "inrush current." This allows users to select the appropriate circuit breaker.
When we connect multiple PLCs to a single power line, the inrush current generates a voltage drop for a few milliseconds. Our PLC power supplies are designed to withstand these brief voltage drops. However, some other devices may be disturbed by these short voltage drops, so clients need to organize power distribution accordingly.
We are working to improve the "inrush current" feature in our future power supplies.
