A USB flash drive will be needed in order to download the waveform data from the AccuSine.
The flash drive needs to be formatted to the FAT32 storage type. The following steps are provided to format the drive to FAT32 in case it is not already formatted to FAT32. These instructions are for Windows PC's. If the drive is not formatted to FAT32, it could cause errors to occur when downloading the event log.
Note: Formatting the USB drive will erase all data on the drive.
- Connect the drive to your computer.
- Open File Explorer and navigate to "This PC".
- Right-click on the drive you want to format and select "Format".
- Choose "FAT32" from the "File system" dropdown.
- Click "Start" to begin the formatting process.
- Once the drive has been formatted, insert the USB drive into the USB-A port below the HMI or into one of the USB-A ports on the back of the HMI.
- Use the HMI to navigate to the Event Log by selecting the "Event Log" icon from the home menu.
- Select the event by touching it on the HMI. The black dot on the left side of the screen indicates which event is selected. Once the event is selected, select the Magnifying Glass to display more details of that event.
- The screen should now look like the screen below. You will see an icon with a computer and waveforms at the bottom of the screen. Select this icon.
-
The screen should now look like the image below. There is a Folder with a downwards facing arrow icon at the bottom of the screen, which saves detailed sample data to the flash drive. Select the Folder Icon to download waveform data onto the USB flash drive.
- Once the waveform data has been downloaded, it can now be sent to technical support for further analysis.
