How can we help you today?
Can a QO or Homeline 2p GFI breaker be used to feed a 240 V load that does not have a load neutral wire?
Issue:
Will a QO220GFI breaker work with no load neutral wire for a 240vac application?

Product Line:
QO-GFI, HOM-GFI

Resolution:
Yes. Simply terminate the two hot wires on the breaker and leave the neutral lug unattached. The pigtail wire on the breaker should still be connected to the neutral bar in the panel - this is required to power the push to trip/test feature which verifies the status of the ground fault electronics.
