What is the suffix that designates 50 deg C calibration on the Powerpact circuit breakers?
Product Line:
Circuit Breakers
Resolution:
To meet requirements of higher ambient conditions, circuit breakers can be factory calibrated for a 50°C ambient temperature by using the CA Suffix. Circuit breakers with special thermal calibration such as CA suffix are not UL Listed. The CA suffix applies to Powerpact H, J, and Q thermal magnetic circuit breaker only.
NOTE: Electronic Powerpact breakers and Powerpact B beakers are not available with 50° calibration, however they can be applied in 50° C applications when derated properly. For more information on the electronic Powerpact H, J, L, M, P, and R frame breakers, see attached catalog pages with ambient derating tables.
