How Do You Disable Input Phase Loss on an ATV61 When Using Single‑Phase Power?

When an ATV61 drive is powered by a single‑phase supply, the Input Phase Loss fault must be disabled to prevent nuisance trips. Follow the steps below to turn this function off safely.

Steps to Disable Input Phase Loss

  1. From the Main Menu, select Drive Menu, then press Enter.
  2. Navigate to Fault Management (Menu 1.8) and press Enter.
  3. Scroll to Input Phase Loss and press Enter.
  4. Set the parameter to NO (Off).

Important Notes

  • This setting is required only when operating the ATV61 on single‑phase power.
  • Disabling Input Phase Loss prevents the drive from detecting a missing phase condition that is expected in single‑phase operation.
  • Ensure the drive is correctly sized and derated according to Schneider Electric guidelines for single‑phase applications.
