It needs to be mentioned that this location is used when the installer has not gotten far enough along to create the 'SetupLogs' directory within the PME folder. This should be the first location checked when asking for install logs. If it doesn't exist, then extract the .xml from the temp folder.

Resolution
The installation log for Power Monitoring Expert can be found in two locations.  The first directory is the default install path which will vary by system: C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\SetupLogs. If the installer errors and has not gotten far enough along to create the SetupLogs directory the install log .xml file can be found in the local users temp folder. This is located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp (the shortcut to get to this location is by putting %temp% into the location bar inside a windows explorer session). 

An example of the filename to look for is 
PowerMonitoringExpert_9.0_InstLog_2019-3-8_14'37'58.xml
