The European Directive 2002/95/EC -“Restriction of Hazardous Substances” (RoHS) effective July 1st, 2006, its recast 2011/65/EU of June 8th, 2011, the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 of March 31st 2015, forbid the use in Europe of lead, mercury, cadmium, Hexavalent chromium, the polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) flame retardant and Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) from July 21st 2019 in certain electrical and/or electronic equipment’s.
