Why is "Activate License" Greyed Out in the License Configuration Tool?
Issue
I have purchased additional licenses and I am trying to update my Activation ID, but the Activate License Button is greyed out in the License Configuration Tool
Resolution
With the License Configuration Tool system there is only one Activation ID available. So if any additions are added you need to either:
- Refresh the License if the license was initially activated via the Online Method
- Or Return the License and activate it again if it was initially activated via the Offline Method
In this instance the "Refresh License" is greyed out meaning the License was initially activated via the Offline Method. This means the License will need to be Returned via the Offline Method, and then reactivated again via the Online or Offline Methods.
After this the additional purchased licenses will be present.
