Procedure for using a standard CT, 4000/5A class 0.5 5VA CT for MTZ2, MasterPact ABC

To simply enable the Ground-Fault Alarm (ANSI 51N/51G) on your Schneider MasterPact ACB with an external neutral CT, follow these quick steps:

1. Connect the Neutral CT:
- Place the external neutral current transformer around the neutral conductor.
- Connect its secondary leads to the designated neutral ground-fault (NGF) input on the trip unit.

2. Configure the Trip Unit:
- Access the Micrologic 5.0X menu via the front display.
- Go to the "Settings" or "Functions" menu.
- Find and select "Ground Fault Detection" or "Ground-Fault Alarm."
- Choose to use the external CT as the sensing device.
- Enable the 51N/51G alarm function.

3. Save and Test:
- Save your settings.
- Test the alarm by simulating a ground fault or using testing tools.

The ACB will now use the external CT to monitor for ground faults and generate alarms accordingly.
