How to deal with an Electrical Vehicle charging cable that won’t unplug from your Electrical Vehicle ?

One issue many Electrical Vehicle (EV) owners struggle with at some point is a charging handle that will not uncouple from the Electrical Vehicle.

Don’t panic. There are some simple things you can do to make it let go.

Step One - Unlock the Vehicle. And check if the cable unplugs now.

Step Two - Contact your car provider / the charging station owner for assistance.

Step Three - Check your owner’s manual of your Electrical Vehicle, and try the Manual Override.

Step Five - Call Roadside Assistance.
