Cannot Open EPZ Relay Configuration File in eSetup Easergy Pro

Issue

A relay EPZ configuration file cannot be opened in eSetup Easergy Pro, even when using the latest available version (at this time v4.11.2). A warning message appears when attempting to open the file.

1

Product

  • eSetup Easergy Pro Software
  • Supported Powerlogic relays

Environment

  • eSetup Easergy Pro v4.11.2
  • Windows PC
  • Local relay configuration files
  • Software configured with custom or default file paths

Cause

eSetup Easergy Pro was not configured to point to the correct Template (configuration) folder. Specifically, the Template folder under General > Files & Folders was not set to the Configs directory where relay configuration files are stored. As a result, the software could not locate or open the configuration files, even though they were valid.

Resolution

The software configuration needs to be reviewed and corrected. To resolve the issue:

  1. Open eSetup Easergy Pro.
  2. Go to General > Files & Folders.
  3. Set the Template folder to point to the Configs directory (according to the local installation path).
  4. Apply the changes and retry opening the relay configuration file.

After updating the Template folder path to the correct Configs directory, you will be able to successfully open the EPZ relay configuration files.
