Issue
The purpose of this Resolution is to inform users of Advantys Configuration software versions less than or equal to 4.0.0.1 of an issue when logging into an STBNIP2212 via Ethernet.

When assigning an IP to log into an STB NIM using Advantys Configuration software, the software will fail to connect to the specified NIM if the address is entered using preceeding zeroes in any octet for specific IP addresses (if the lowest octet digit ends in 1 through 7).

IP entry with preceding zeroes in the octets. This IP will not connect to an STB Ethernet NIM.

• IP entry without preceding zeroes in the octets. This IP will connect to an STB Ethernet NIM

Resolution
The issue is fixed in Advantys Configuration software version 4.5 and higher.
For versions 4.0.0.1 and lower, the workaround consists of entering the IP address without using preceding zeros in any octet.
