Within the catalogs in the characteristics section for the RPF relays, it mentions that for the Rated operational current in utilisation categories AC-1 and DC-1: Conforming to IEC N/O=30A N/C=3A Conforming to UL 30A. Why is so big the difference between N/O and N/C ratings in IEC?

The NO contact is dedicated to switch power loads.
The NC contact is dedicated for low power control (PLC, pilot light...)
