What would cause the ATV71 drive to show an CLI status when running the drive without a motor connected?
Issue:
CLI status causes on the ATV71 while running the drive without a motor connected.

Cause:
Needs to test the drive without running the motor, however they are getting CLI on the remote HMI as current limit status.
Resolution:
The factory default motor control type is set to SVCV (sensorless flux vector control voltage). If you want to run the ATV71 open circuit, without the motor, then you will need to change the motor control type to V/F 2pts in 1.4 Motor Control menu.
This should fix the drive from getting the CLI with no motor connected.
