Is it possible for a Magelis / Harmony HMI to communicate to a M241 Serial Line 2 via SoMachine / Machine Expert protocol?

Yes, the M241 can communicate to an HMI via SL2.
The default communication settings for SL2 does not match the settings for the COM of the HMI (baud rate and parity are different). If the settings are adapted, the communication works fine.
Below is the RS485 pinout:
HMI to M241 SL2
Pin 4 to D1
Pin 5 to D0
