The BMENOP0300 can be used in report mode. In this conditions, the BMENOP0300 is receiving reports coming from the IED device where report has been enabled.

In some conditions, a General Interrogation can be performed. This GI need to be generated by changing some options inside the report control block.

We would suggest to Performed the GI (General Interrogation) once only with the following condition:

1) We can get the good health status of the individual IED

2) We can get the good Data freshness status of the individual IED.

3) We managed to enable the Report control block with the positive response from the particular IED.

4) If all the above conditions are met then we are ready to give a GI using the report control block.

5) In order to give the GI as mentioned earlier all the condition should be met, means in IED reports is already enabled.

6) Using the Report control block and set 11 (decimal) in the options of the report block.

7) Change the value in CMD of the report block to trigger the GI.

8) Monitor the status feedback of the GI.

In a wireshark trace, you can see the GI emission from the BMENOP0300.
