Environment: All Serial Numbers
Cause
The power factor correction (PFC) circuit is experiencing sagging current at higher input voltages (>240VAC), leading to defects in logic power and causing the system to become brain dead. Additionally, battery timing and traffic congestion are contributing to system mismatches
Resolution:
Firmware ID1062 and ID1063 v4.9 has been released and addresses this issue as well as the following
1. Improve PFC sagging current when input voltage is larger than 240V.
2. Reduce input peak current at on‐line transient moment when input voltage is larger than 240V.
3. When a fault is detected during self‐test, prevent turning on PFC and transfer to failure bypass mode.
4. Force battery to sleep while UPS is in fault to avoid consuming battery energy.
5. Adjust the fan control algorithm for reducing noise.
