When working with Thin Clients in Machine SCADA Expert, setting up the Secure Viewer Thin Client and ensuring proper functionality can sometimes be challenging. This FAQ covers general checks and recommendations.

If you encounter issues getting Secure Viewer to work, follow these steps:
1- Verify License Limits
Confirm the number of parallel Thin Clients allowed by your license and ensure you do not exceed this limit.
2- Check Network Ports
Make sure port 1234 or 51234 (encrypted) is open on the Thin Client machine.
3- Enable Only One Port
Ensure that only one port is enabled at a time and configure this port in the Secure Viewer settings screen.
4- Validate Your Configuration
Validate your Secure Viewer configuration by following the steps shown in this video for AVEVA Edge (same product):
