Solution:
PowerChute Serial Shutdown v1.2 + supports Back-UPS users instantly accessing the Web UI via the quick access icon without a username and password combination. This feature benefits users who do not require authenticated or remote access to the Web UI.

Note: Existing PowerChute users (PowerChute Serial Shutdown v1.0) can also remove the username and password requirement  by updating it to v1.2.
