The difference between ModSoft PID and Concept PID loops are as follows:
PID (ModSoft):
PB - Gain = 100 / PB
I - Integral Coefficient Expressed as Repeats/Minute. The higher the value, the greater the integral contribution
D – Derivative Coefficient. Expressed in Minutes. The higher the value, the greater the derivative contribution
PID (Concept):
GAIN - Enter GAIN value as a REAL. Can be Positive or Negative. Positive Gain = Direct acting loop. Negative Gain = Reverse acting loop
TI - Integral Time. Expressed as TIME. The smaller the unit of time, the more significant the integration
TD - Derivative Time. Expressed as TIME. The greater the unit of time, the greater the derivative contribution.
