There is a system word %SW61, it is a readable register & is used to monitor the current machine status of the Primary & Standby.
This word consists of 16 bits, According to their status (0 or 1), we can determine the following:
1- First PLC is offline, primary or secondary
2- Second PLC is offline, primary or secondary
3- PLCs having matching logic or not
4- Hot standby is active or not
