Issue:
Will the ATV61 drive save the last speed reference when using the external knob for speed control on the HMI?
Product Line:
Altivar ATV61 and ATV71 with VW3A1101 HMI
Environment:
All
Cause:
Knob on remote HMI is a digital signal reference its not saved if you power cycled the drive. Drive will start back at low speed or 0 hz.
Resolution:
Unforunately, the display will lose the reference once the drive along with keypad lose power.
If you need to maintain the speed reference after you power down you may need to add a remote mounted POT to AI1, com and +10vdc as an option.
The HMI Reference if used will go back to 0 or LSP(low speed) if cycled power to the drive. Can set LSP to desired setting. Also, there is a Reference saved parameter but it applies only to +/- Speed.
It does not apply to the HMI reference.
