How Unity Pro V2.1 manages the data files (*.Dat)

Reminder :
The data files can contain the following variables :
- Located variables -> %M, %MW,
- Unlocated variables -> EDT (elementary data type), DDT instances(Arrays and Structures), DFB and EFB instances.

Unity-Pro allows to transfer the data from the PLC to the PC (*.Dat file) using the command "Transfer data from PLC to File" in the PLC menu.
Unity-Pro allows to transfer the data from the PC (*.Dat file) to the PLC using the command "Transfer data from File to PLC" in the PLC menu.

Unity Pro management :

1) Command "Transfer Data from PLC to File"

1.1) The project open in Unity Pro is the same than the project in the PLC :
The transfer is always performed even if some modifications are done in the PLC project (add or remove data).

1.2) The project open in Unity Pro is different than the project in the PLC :
In this case the command "Transfer Data from PLC to File" is not available.

2) Command "Transfer Data from File to PLC".

2.1) The *.Dat file has been generated with the project in the PLC :
If some modifications are done in the PLC project (On line modification, or local modification + transfer), if these modifications affect the data (add or remove data) the memory organization of the Unlocated data could be changed, in this case just after the launching of the command Unity Pro informs the user that only the Located data will be transferred.

2.2) The *.Dat file has been generated with another project than the project in the PLC :
With Unity Pro V2.1 just after the launching of the command, Unity Pro informs the user that the project in the PLC is not the same than the project used to create the *.Dat file, in this case only the Located data will be transferred in the PLC memory.

With the Unity Pro versions lower than the V2.1, just after the launching of the command Unity-Pro informs the user that the transfer is impossible.
