Goals and Symptoms
What does it mean the "socket operating voltage" expression of the RSL slim interface relay?
The catalog has a table which describe the operating voltage and the control circuit voltage for each sockets. What is it?
Facts and Changes
socket operating voltage of RSL relay
Causes and Fixes
First, depending on the 4 types of slim-relays (input voltages: 12, 24, 48, 60 Vdc), there are 6 types of sockets.
Therefore, the 6 sockets have to be controled with special voltages which is indicated as the "operating voltage" : 12, 24, 48, 60, 110, 230 Vac/dc.
The Operating voltage column indicates the voltage to activate the relay.
The Tolerance column indicates the mini/maxi of the Operating voltage.
The Control circuit voltage column indicates the voltage which will be applied on the input of relay (in order to indicate to the customer the right voltage rating of relay, if he replaces it).
The Output ratings are indicated in "contact characteristics" and "socket characteristics".
