Autotransformer is a very old conventional and very expensive starting method, which is used very rarely after the introduction of Soft starters / VSDs etc.
On the small power motor, it is really very costly to implement this method as the autotransformer is an expensive part and we can achieve almost similar starting characteristics using the Star-Delta option.
For the lighter loads, the components need to be selected based on the current ratings.
It could be an option to use the type 2 coordination table for star delta starter for selection purposes only, but please refrain from referring to them as the Coordination table for Autotransformer starting as they are not tested validated, and certified on Autotransformer.
